Event Funding Program (EFP)

Round 2 of the Northern Territory Government’s Event Funding Program (EFP) has now closed.

Our funding program supports a wide variety of events, including music festivals, sporting events and cultural events that drive tourism and help make the Northern Territory a great place to live.

Event organisers can apply under one of three tiers: 

• Flagship – Events that deliver strong economic outcomes.
• Signature – Events focused on capability-building and development.
• Community – Events that celebrate the uniqueness of the Territory. 

Community funding is further broken down into three tiers - Arts & Culture, Sport and Aboriginal Culture.
