Event Funding Program (EFP)
 

Round 1 of the Northern Territory Government’s Event Funding Program (EFP) has now closed, with Round 2 opening in early February 2026. 

Our funding program supports a wide variety of events, including music festivals, major sporting events and cultural events that drive tourism in the Northern Territory.

In 2025 we introduced a new tiered structure for our funded events and applications can be submitted in the Flagship, Signature or Community tiers. The Community tier is further divided into Sport, Arts & Culture and Aboriginal Culture.
